Grand Hikers Club

The Grand Hikers Club is a non-profit hiking club located in the community of Sun City Grand, Surprise, Arizona. It is one of many non-profit clubs chartered by the Sun City Grand Community Association and is operated in accordance with Arizona statutes, the Bylaws of the Sun City Grand Community Association, and the Bylaws of the Grand Hikers.

Our mission is to provide members with opportunities to hike. Membership is open to those living in the community of Sun City Grand who are in good standing with the Sun City Grand Community Association.

New Hikers

For safety reasons, it is strongly recommended that all new hikers complete the monthly introductory hike prior to doing other club hikes. Typically the club hikes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays, offering a variety of venues and levels of difficulty. Introductory hikes occur on the first Wednesday following the general membership meeting. E-Z Hikes will also be available on Wednesdays. These will be club hikes at a slower pace with more stops than a regular hike. Hiking boots or shoes made specifically for hiking are required on all club hikes. General Meeting
